Surrounded by grape-laden vines, with spectacular views of the Napa Valley, this remote retreat is, simply put, a beautiful place to spend precious time together with family and friends. Set on a 55-acre working vineyard, a stay here guarantees peace and tranquillity, far removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Your hosts tore down the original house that sat on this site and redesigned it from the ground up. With soaring vaulted ceilings, and those much-vaunted Napa Valley vistas, the open living area is designed for you to be able to cosy up around the fire while offering a connection with the awe-inspiring landscape courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows. Meanwhile, Mindy's husband is a professional chef, so the kitchen includes all those nice-to-have additions that are sure to appeal to the culinarily creative. Allowing them to prepare mouthwatering meals, all while feeling part of the conversation. Step through the sliding doors and you'll find yourself on a terrace that wraps around the high-tech home. Imagine tucking into a barbecue banquet out here at the twenty-seater table as the sun sets, followed by a dip in the inviting hot tub as you gaze up at the clear night sky. At the... end of the day, sink into the sumptuous mattresses in any of five individually decorated bedrooms, each offering sanctuaries of calm for an unbroken night's sleep and valley views to put a pep in your step each morning. While the home is an absolute delight, there are plenty of activities to tempt you out for the day. In addition to award-winning boutique wineries and world-class dining, we'd suggest getting out into nature on challenging hikes and cycle rides through the nearby countryside. Alternatively, embark on a scenic drive to the Sonoma coast to explore the beaches and feast on the freshest seafood.
